A variable cross-section fusible element made of pure copper is encapsulated within a high-strength ceramic fusible tube. The fusible tube is filled with chemically treated high-purity quartz sand as the arc-extinguishing medium. The two ends of the fusible element are firmly electrically connected to the end plate by spot welding, forming a knife-type contact insertion structure. The fusible element may be equipped with a fuse indicator, which can display the fuse failure or convert it into various signals and automatically switch circuits when the fusible element melts.
Operating Conditions:
1. Ambient Air Temperature:
- Maximum ambient air temperature not exceeding 40℃
- 24-hour average ambient air temperature not exceeding 35℃
- Lower limit of ambient air temperature not lower than -5℃
2. Altitude: The altitude of the installation site does not exceed 2000m.
3. Atmospheric Conditions: The air must be pure and clean. At a maximum temperature of 40℃, the relative humidity should not exceed 50%. Higher relative humidity is permissible at lower temperatures; for example, 90% at 20℃. Under these conditions, occasional condensation may occur due to temperature changes.
